About

Kevin and Tammy Taal, owners and operators of Cascade Country Cabins since summer 2021, are “hands on” log home builders who makes it a point to be part of the building process every step of the way. At Cascade Country Cabins we put our hearts as well as our backs into every tiny home, custom log home or log home kit we do.

Ben has retired and we wish him the best!!

From Ben..

“Please welcome Kevin Taal and Tammy Dryden as the new owners of Cascade Country Cabins. Ben Sciacca its founder and former owner, now retired, would like to thank all of his former clients for their decision to allow us to build their dream cabins. My small crew will continue working with Kevin and Tammy with the same important goal in mind. To continue the tradition of building you the best Log Cabin or Tiny Home available.”

Let the journey continue!

All the best,

Ben Sciacca

Our Log Homes Style..

We choose standing dead lodgepole pine logs because of their low moisture content and their natural beauty with unique character. We take the time to look for the beauty in each and every log we place so the finished product is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Our post and beam style eliminates costly labor at the corners allowing you to spend your money on more important areas of your home.

All of our log kits are assembled in the Columbia Gorge in a 20,000 square foot enclosed building to ensure better quality during the building process.

Many of our Washington and Oregon clients have chosen Cascade Country Cabins after much research on their part, due to our craftmanship and reasonable prices.

Our website has a limited number of tiny home plans, log home floor plans and are just a few ideas to choose from. Changes are always encouraged and accommodated for.

If you would like to join the growing number of people who have decided to move up to the beauty and warmth of a log home OR interested in a tiny home, we hope you will consider working with us.

Our tiny house is a result of Ben's skill, vision and creativity and is beyond what we ever imagined. Ben made our vision and dreams come true. Artistry has met functionality which is the age-old debate in architecture. For anyone reading this that has been looking beyond a manufactured tiny house to a structure that is original, a piece of art and is constructed with love, passion and craftsmanship that is seldom found these days, we highly recommend you contact Cascade Country Cabins and talk with Ben about creating a piece of artistry for you.
